BIMA Satria Garuda is an Indonesian-Japanese tokusatsu television series co-produced by MNC Media and Ishimori Production.

Synopsis

The story begins in the Parallel World (Dunia Paralel), ruled by the VUDO Empire, which is on the brink of collapse. The Parallel World is a world that lives in eternal darkness, its realm devoid of any natural resources due to the power ambitions of the VUDO Empire. Rasputin is the evil and cruel ruler of the VUDO Empire. He wants to find another world to take all its natural resources to revive the Parallel World and expand the power of VUDO. Two scientists on Earth managed to create a portal that could connect Earth and other galaxies, so VUDO discovered another world that could be ruled.

Ray Bramasakti gets the Red Power Stone from a mysterious young man named Mikhail to stop all attempts by Rasputin and the VUDO Empire to take over Earth. By acquiring the Power Stone, Ray gains the power to transform into BIMA, the Garuda Knight. Randy Iskandar and his sister Rena are Ray's adoptive siblings and are also involved in BIMA's activities against Rasputin and the VUDO empire.

Characters

Ray Bramasakti / Satria Garuda Bima
Actor: Christian Loho

The main character. Kind, quiet, but noble. Ray is an orphan who lives with his two adopted brothers, Randy and Rena. Ray works on an auto repair shop called "Satria Motors". With the Red Power Stone he got from Mikhail, he can turn into Bima, the Satria Garuda, with the characteristics of the Garuda (agility, focus, and strength) and uses his powers to save the planet from the threats of VUDO. But Ray also struggles with the responsibility of taking on Bima's powers because he doesn't want to endanger his beloved adoptive family.

Randy Iskandar
Played by Rayhan Febrian
Rena Iskandar
Played by Stella Cornelia (JKT48)
Paman Iwan

VUDO Empire

Rasputin
Played by Sutan Simatupang

The main antagonist. The ruler of the VUDO Empire with the deadly black Power Stone. He comes from the Parallel World and wants to invade Earth, take over the elements of oxygen, water, oil and electricity, and bring life to the Parallel World. Rasputin sees humans or "earth creatures" as weak but very evil and selfish creatures, even more evil than himself. Rasputin wants to make Earthlings slaves to strengthen the VUDO Empire.

Topeng Besi / Iron Mask
Suit actor: Jerry Yass, Voice: Heru Setiadi

VUDO's Royal Warlord. Rasputin's faithful right-hand man, the Iron Mask is a mysterious figure who wears full body armor and a destructive claw bracelet with the power of the Blue Power Stone. Iron Mask is VUDO's warlord, but his aggressive tactics and blatant attacks on humans allow BIMA to always succeed in tracking down and thwarting VUDO's operations. This made Rasputin doubt the Iron Mask's ability as a warlord; Azazel was eventually appointed as the new warlord in Episode 13. Iron Mask, dissatisfied with Azazel for usurping the position of VUDO's Commander-in-Chief, betrayed him by blowing up VUDO's warship while Azazel was on board in episode 15. In episode 16, it was discovered that the Iron Mask turned out to be a "living armor" in which no one could replicate themselves. In Episode 17, Iron Mask was finally defeated by BIMA after a fierce battle, but in the final episode, it is revealed that Iron Mask came back to life, killing Rasputin.

Mikhail / Azazel / Reza Bramasakti
Played by Adhitya Alkatiri

A mysterious young man from the Parallel World who initially came to earth escaping from VUDO, but eventually became VUDO's Dark Knight, Azazel. Mikhail escaped from the VUDO warship with the Red Power Stone, which he stole from VUDO's ruler Rasputin. He rarely communicates with humans, only with Ray through telepathy. In episode 6, Mikhail realized that he was under Rasputin's influence, and that he was actually Ray's younger brother, Reza Bramasakti. In episode 23, he recovered from the big battle with Bima and survived the destruction of the VUDO battleship under Bima's protection.
