Diamondhead is a sample of Petrosapien DNA in the Omnitrix.
Appearance
Diamondhead is a silicon-based life, with light green crystals all over its body and four sharp crystal spikes on its back. It wears a black and white uniform with the Omnitrix logo on its left chest.
In "Alien Force" its body is composed of indigo crystals with black markings. It has six spikes on its back and two on its chest, with the Omnitrix logo in the center of its chest. Starting from this episode, Diamondhead's eyes changed from yellow to green.
In "Omniverse", it wears a black top and pants, with green soles and a vertical green stripe on its chest. It also wears a green leather belt with the Omnitrix logo in the center. The crystal spikes on its chest were gone, and there were only two on its back, but they had become longer and more pointed. Its chin is slightly enlarged.
11-year-old Ben's Diamondhead is similar to the original, but the spikes on his back are larger and his eyes are green.
Albedo's Diamondhead has red eyes and his Omnitrix logo is red, but other than that there is not much difference.
Kevin's Diamondhead does not have the Omnitrix logo.
Gwen 10's Diamondhead has a slimmer body, with pink eyes and the Omnitrix logo. Its clothes are closer to Xiaowen's own clothes.
Mad Ben's Diamondhead has an orange Omnitrix logo, located at the intersection of the two orange belts on the chest. It wears a "Mad Max"-style spike suit with three crystal spikes on its head that look like a Mohawk.
Abilities
Diamondhead's whole body is made of hard crystals. It can reorganize its molecules by manipulating molecules to turn parts of itself into various weapons, shoot crystal missiles from its hands, and even make its own crystals grow rapidly, which gives it limited regeneration capabilities.
It can form a solid wall by making crystals, or trap enemies with crystals. It can also make crystals of various shapes and launch attacks.
Its body can refract laser-type attacks, rendering them useless, or absorb the energy directly. Fire attacks have no effect on it, and the hard crystal can withstand powerful physical attacks.
Diamondhead can survive in space.
The body structure of Diamondhead is very stable, and aging rays have no effect on it.
Diamondhead is a few heroes who can defeat Vilgax in a duel.
Weaknesses
Petrosapiens are afraid of noise, a weakness that renders them unconscious.
Appearances
When Vilgax's robots attacked, Ben chose to transform into Diamondhead and defeated the robots, protecting the park.
After that, Ben did some training to control the hero's abilities. In Secret of the Omnitrix, Diamondhead appears briefly when the Omnitrix malfunctions.
Diamondhead made his debut in the third season of "Alien Force". He appeared after Chromastone was shattered and defeated Vilgax in one fell swoop. Later, Diamondhead shattered Diamondhead in order to reshape Petrosapien and resurrected Chromastone. The latter's power rebuilt Petropia.
Trivia
- In fact, according to the original draft, Cannonbolt was supposed to be one of the original 10 aliens, and Diamondhead was added later.
- Diamondhead and Cannonbolt have appeared in every work in the entire classic Ben 10 series.
- After the destruction of Petropia, Chromastone and Diamondhead were the last two surviving Petrosapiens.
- Diamondhead and Way Big are the only two aliens who have defeated Vilgax.
- Diamondhead and Feedback are also the only two aliens who have defeated a Mechamorph.
