Dream worlds a common scene setting and lore background setting in ACG works.
Introduction
Dreams are a world composed of imaginary images, sounds, thoughts, feelings, etc. produced by humans during sleep. It belongs to the spiritual world in the category of isekai.
The scenes and objects in dreams are all-encompassing, ranging from ordinary life or natural scenes (such as school teachers guiding students' homework, beach vacations, family dinners, hospital visits, etc.) to all kinds of bizarre places such as the underworld, heaven, and other things that are completely inaccessible or even non-existent in daily life. The various scenes, objects, and interactions between the dreamer and the objects in the dream that appear in these dreams are partly derived from the dreamer's subconscious, mentality, partial memories, and various people and things that he or she contacts or cares about on a daily basis.
