Karaoke is a common activity in ACG works, and it is more common in ACG works that are biased towards daily life and love.

Introduction

In the 1960s, with the development of audio-visual technology, "karaoke", shortened version for "empty orchestra" appeared in Japan. Karaoke equipment achieves the purpose of entertainment by playing the pre-recorded accompaniment and vocal tracks according to the user's needs.

In the 1970s, the popularity of video recorders made it possible to play karaoke images. Currently, karaoke mostly relies on digital equipment. In addition, karaoke services are also developing in a diversified manner. The upgrading of home multimedia equipment and the popularization of smart phones have also had a huge impact on the traditional karaoke industry.

Karaoke is a common entertainment and social activity. In the process, you can get a glimpse of the character, attitude and skill level of the singer and the audience. In social gatherings such as groups of relatives and friends, school or community friends, sororities, etc., Karaoke activities are often held in conjunction with party activities. During this period, the behavior and attitude of the karaoke singers will affect the favorability among all the people present, and will also be discovered by some scouts.

Karaoke venues

The most common places for karaoke are KTVs (karaoke bars) that are independently operated or attached to restaurants, pubs, and hotels, followed by homes and buses with KTV installations. With the advancement of technology and the development of smart phones, people can also start the KTV system to sing happily at any time.

The karaoke phenomenon

During the karaoke process, the roles of the singer and the audience are of a rotating nature. The participants in the karaoke are roughly divided into the following types (there are also overlaps):

  • Imperfect skills: singers who are not familiar with songs, choose songs that are not suitable for them, have an inaccurate sense of sound, lack of ventilation at specific nodes, etc., are classified here. People avoid it.
  • Long-occupying microphone type: like to sing, and will order a lot of songs, occasionally accompanied by the behavior of interrupting songs in the middle. The act of holding on to the microphone is called "Mike" in some areas.
  • Blockbuster type/different type: usually seldom or hardly sing, once he sings, he often surprises everyone (leaves a deep impression); the other type is to pick up the microphone and his personality changes suddenly, showing a contrast.
  • Atmosphere-driven type: The main role that drives the atmosphere in K-song activities, usually in the form of love-point music with a lively or vigorous atmosphere, or it will drive the audience to sing and carry out activities to heat up the venue.
  • Non-singing or less singing type: Participants in this type are not particularly keen on karaoke activities, or are not good at singing, and prefer to be in the audience or eat quietly during karaoke. But sometimes, because of physical discomfort and unable to sing, they attend and watched karaoke as an audience member.
  • Love presenting type: It belongs to the participants who love to order songs, and whether they are good at songs or not, they must express themselves.
  • Strength type: It belongs to the singer who is good at singing, and the style of music depends on the participant's preference or specialization field.
  • Imitation type: Participants who are good at impersonation/mimic, sometimes bringing a comedic effect on the karaoke
  • Funny type: The main characters who bring laughter in karaoke activities, whether it is accompaniment, singing, or talking, they will bring out unexpected laughs that make everyone squirt.

She suffered from PTSD and closed herself and changed. She was unable to sing in front of a crowd. Later, Belle was pulled by her classmates to the Karaoke bar and asked to sing, and she panicked and fled the scene because of the psychological trauma.
