Omega Sisters (Japanese: おめがシスターズ) are a VTuber duo who started activities on YouTube on March 5, 2018, they are affiliated with the company upd8 since May 31, 2018.
Introduction
A group of twin VTubers who call themselves "Virtual Twin YouTubers". Omega Ray, who has blue hair, a red bow and a pink apron, is the older twin, and Omega Rio, who has pink hair in twintails, a blue bow and apron, is the younger twin. They are also called "Ome Sis" (おめシス) for short.
Their initial submissions were karaoke-type videos, demonstrating the song during introductions. The singing ability is also fairly well regarded by fans. There are also a large number of highly acclaimed creative and witty short films being submitted.
The themes of their videos are varied and eclectic, the greater use of VR space for video content is also a major feature. There are also types that look like they are combined with location portraits, and so on.
They were originally independent VTubers when they debuted on March 5, 2018, subsequently joining upd8's support program on May 31, 2018.
History
- On April 29, 2022, they participated in the event Vtuber Fes Japan 2022, a concert organized by Niconico. They appeared on the first day of the event.
Anecdotes
- They developed VTuber Fighters, a fighting game modeled after themselves, and recruited other VTubers to join the game.
- The duo can perform a Fusion Dance similar to Dragon Ball, the fusion is called "Omega Rerio".
