Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World (Japanese:Re:ゼロから始める異世界生活)(also known as Re: Life in a different world from zero in Japan) is a light novel written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichirou Otsuka, and has derivative works.

Original Work Info
The work was first serialized on the website Shōsetsuka ni Narō in the name of "Nezumi-iro Neko", and was published by MF Bunko J later.
Plot
Subaru Natsuki is an ordinary high school student who is lost in an alternate world, where he is rescued by a beautiful, silver-haired girl. He stays near her to return the favor, but the destiny she is burdened with is more than Subaru can imagine. Enemies attack one by one, and both of them are killed. He then finds out he has the power to rewind death, back to the time he first came to this world. But only he remembers what has happened since.[1]

The anime making was announced on July 19, 2015. The anime premiered on April 4, 2016, it has 25 episodes in all, and the 1st episode is an 1-hour extension.

- The short anime titled Re:Zero − Starting Break Time From Zero(Japanese: Re:ゼロから始める
