Plot
Deep underground in the Railway Museum, Kyoto Railway Museum, and SCMAGLEV and Railway Park lies the secret agency "Shinkansen Super Evolution Research Institute."
In order to protect Japan from the giant monsters born from the "Dark Shinkansen", the research institute has developed the Shinkansen mecha, "Shinkalion". Only by letting children with a high compatibility rate drive the Shinkalions can their maximum power be exerted to repel powerful enemies.
What is the purpose of the "Dark Shinkansen"? Can the children protect the future of Japan?

First Enemy (ファスト・エネミー)
The giant monster that first appeared appeared in Commander Izuku's memories in Episode 1. Officially debuted in episode 33, appearing above Kataoka Station in Yaita City, Tochigi Prefecture. It looks like a Japanese relic called the "Shutter Doll" and emits light to attack.
A total of 12 units appeared near Matsushima Town in Miyagi Prefecture 10 years ago. They launched a fierce attack on the city and then all retreated and disappeared after only one minute. Destroyed in episode 40.
Dark Shinkansen
The Dark Shinkansen lines that appear on Shinkansen railways across Japan are scattered with a large number of black particles. First appeared in the first episode.
The name is a homonym of the discontinued Shinkansen route plan "Shikoku Shinkansen".
