Earth-chan

Mars-chan is the moegirl of Mars, one of the eight planets in the solar system.

Introduction

Mars-chan is a close neighbor of Earth-chan. She has soil made of rich iron oxide, so she appears red. She is another twin sister of Earth-chan. Because it is far and sometimes close to the Earth Mother, it sometimes looks brighter than Jupiter-chan, which is a harbinger of war and disaster.

Modern exploration

Early humans used telescopes to observe that there was a long crack and ravine on the abdomen of the Mars-chan, so people speculated that this was a canal dug by the alien life Martians who lived on the surface of Mars-chan skin, so they wanted to conduct research and exploration on Mars-chan's body. In the 1960s, the Soviet Union launched the first and second Mars probes, but they both ended in failure. It was not until 1964 that the American Mariner 4 probe successfully flew by the Martian girl and took photos of local areas of the Martian girl's body. Since then, more and more probes have visited Mars. NASA has launched five Mars rovers[note 1] and two landers[1] in 1996, 2003, 2007, 2011, 2018 and 2020 to detect and extract materials from the surface of her skin. ESA launched the Mars Express probe and the Beagle lander in 2003, India launched the Mangalyaan probe in 2012, and the United Arab Emirates launched the Hope Mars probe in 2020. China also launched the Tianwen-1 probe and the Zhurong Mars rover in 2020, which made the originally dead Mars-chan lively.
