Earth-chan is the moe anthropomorphization of Earth, the third planet in the Solar System.

Introduction
It isn't obvious at ordinary times, but when encountering alien civilizations, especially when threatened by aliens with planet-destroyer cannons, she has a 99% chance of avoiding annihilation.
The character's birthday is set as April 22, which is Earth Day.
Setting 1
Earth-chan is very plainly dressed, with brown hair and green clothes, representing the colors of the land and trees. She was shy (arrogant) and would not take the initiative to contect humans. Among the ancient ancestors, one or two lucky people would occassionally see her. The greeks named her Gaia, and the Nordics named her Yode.
She had been having a cold lately and had low energy.
Carrying a lot of humans on her back makes her feel exhausted.
Setting 2: Earth-kun
Known as the character who has appeared in the most works.
At the same time, he is also a tsundere character with lines such as "I...I'm not moving around just for you!" (One suspects that this statement comes from the end of the third episode of "The World God Only Knows II". The original sentence is translated as: "With the concept of anthropomorphism, everything can become a cute character. For example, the Earth, if you prick up your ears: you can hear "It's not just for you!" in a an arrogant voice, so environmental protection is the first step!"
Although many environmentalists think green clothes are suitable, he doesn't seem to care much about it. Instead, I prefers sea blue jackets.
He prefers raising animals, especially larger animals, but since an accident caused the extinction of the dinosaurs, he was so sad that he stopped taking care of them seriously. So in the end, monkeys evolved into humans... After monkeys evolved into humans, they are everywhere on the earth. Digging holes in their body, Earth-kun naively thought that shaking would shake humans off, so there were more and more earthquakes...
= Setting 3: The American Earth-chan
The original setting came from a tweet by Twitter user Trinimmortal, which said: "Someone should make an anime where the planets in our Solar System are cute anime girls attending school and there's a running gag where Earth-chan is self-conscious about her smaller chest, to which she constantly responds "I-I'M NOT FLAT!" (on December 1, 2017).
Later, an artist on DeviantArt, DatWeirdoWhoLuvsMilk, enriched the image of Earth-chan on December 7 of the same year.
Currently widely accepted basic settings:
Earth-chan, female, student.
The hair color is usually short hair with green flowers on a blue background (Eatth pattern), sometimes with obvious white water vapor (clouds).
The clothes she usually wears are school uniforms, and her private clothes are a white short-sleeved T-shirt with the NASA logo printed on it. Often wears white bubble socks or black pantyhose.
She is not in good health, so she often wears a mask, and sometimes she has to take a sling.
She feels happy when she mentions recycling. She has a gentle personality, and is always tolerant (of human beings, pollution, etc.)
Often exposed (usually showing a picture of the Grand Canyon or the Big Hollow, and then...)
Some Russians used this image to create a Virtual YouTuber, Mana Renewal.
Then on December 10th of the same year, another one posted some memes about Earth-chan, and it became viral...
