Hudson Soft, or simply Hudson, was a game company from Japan. In 2012, it was absorbed by Konami.

History

Hudson was founded in 1973 as a radio shop. The company's name comes from the Hudson locomotives.

In 1987, Hudson developed the "C62 System", a graphics system which was later used in the development of the video game console PC Engine, a joint effort of Hudson and NEC.

In 2012, all of Hudson's assets were bought by Konami.
