Handling Japanese

When displaying Japanese kanji, hiragana or katakana, it is recommended that you use {{lj}} to wrap around the text in order to prevent misconversion. You can also set the parameter of {{lang}} to ja.

Infobox Song

{{Infobox Song
|Name of the Song =
|image =
|Singer = <!--The performer or group that sings the song-->
|Lyricist = <!--The lyricist-->
|Composer = <!--The composer-->
|Arranger = <!--The arranger. May be omitted if it is the same as the composer-->
|Mixing =
|Mastering =
|MV director = <!--If there is a promotional music video, you can fill in this field with its director-->
|Release =
|Album(s) = <!--The album that the song is included in-->
}}

Lyricist, Composer, and other parameters can be rearranged when editing. The display is based on the effect you sorted.

For project-specific usage and mobilization of this template, please see Template:Infobox Song/doc

First paragraph

The general format of the first paragraph is:

"'''Song Name'''" is a song by '''Artist Name''', written by '''Lyricist Name''', composed/arranged by '''Composer/Arranger Name'''.

For song titles, it is recommended to use the original title of the song.

In this section, you can write about the theme and content of the song, the story behind the song (if any), song version changes, etc.

Music video

This is the part where you insert the relevant music video of the song. Insertion of Niconico videos is not supported for the time being, for details, see Help:Inserting videos.

Song audio can also be inserted, for details, see Help:Inserting music.

Lyrics

This is the part that shows the lyrics. It is recommended to use the code <poem></poem> to wrap the lyrics.

If the lyrics are in a foreign language, you can list both the original text and the English translation. Please try to identify the translators and list them.

  and   can be used in place of full-width/half-width to change the typography.

If you want to display the original text and the translation side-by-side, please use {{LyricsKai}} when viewing articles in different screen widths. The layout will change automatically (Module:Lyrics/doc).

Some other templates that will help with complex lyrics typography:

 • {{tabs}}: Used to switch between displaying multiple versions of lyrics.

Others

If you have some knowledge of music theory, the structure of the song can be analyzed.

The song's release history, versions, albums and other information that cannot be elaborated upon in the first paragraph, could be the subject of a separate section.

This section lists the relevant navbox templates, related templates need to be created.
