The X-Men are characters appearing in comic books published by American company Marvel Comics.

Introduction

The X-Men are all mutants who were taken in by Charles Xavier, who taught them how to handle their powers at his school.

The team had many formations throughout the years, but the most famous members are:

Cyclops: Real name Scott Summers. Fires beams of red light with his visor.
Storm: Real name Ororo Munroe. Can produce thunderstorms and rain and change the weather at will.
Gambit: Real name Remy LeBeau. Can charge inanimate objects with energy and makes them explode, and also attacks using playing cards.
Rogue: Real name Anna Marie. Can absorb others' powers.
Jean Grey: Uses telepathy.
Beast: Real name Hank McCoy. Has super strength.
Nightcrawler: Real name Kurt Wagner. Can move through walls and climb on them.
Wolverine: Real name Logan. Can regenerate his body when injured. Also possesses claws made of Adamantium for attacking. He has currently left the team.
