Modern Sketch was a famous magazine published by Shanghai Time Inc. with [[Lu Shaofei]] and [[Zhang Guangyu]] as editors, it was established in Jan 1934 and ended in June 1937, altogether 39 issues. The magazine mainly published works that reflect social life and Anti-Japanese Invasion war and was famous for its realistic and straightforward style. Standing out among the many cartoon magazines at this time, it has become the most outstanding cartoon magazine in the 1930s in China.
