This is One-Six's own grand plan on building a rule set for EN MGP.

Naming custom

• Category
  • use all lowercase (except for the automatically capitalized first letter) for all commonly used category, so category handler can use {{lc:}} to automatically avoid capitalization issues while preserving good legibility (FULL UPPERCASE IS NO GOOD!)
  • always use plural (category with only one entry is not necessary)

• Template: Camel Case?

Categorizing

• Categories
  • All other categories for (Main) pages
  • Maintenance categories (Redirect: To-do?, To-do list?)
    • All categories used to mark issues needing fixing
  • Templates
    • Templates of high use
    • Meta templates
  • Informational templates
    • • Page-top informational templates
      • Mid-page informational templates
      • Page-bottom informational templates
      • Block informational templates
      • Templates based on navboxes (naming? categorizing at PBIT?)
    • Maintenance templates
      • Discussion templates (?)
        • Voting templates
    • Functional templates (performing a visible function, like Template:Font, Template:Color)
    • Templates for template documentations (e.g. Template:HighRisk, Template:Esoteric)
    • Templates for categories (e.g. Template:EmptyCatGood, Template:CategoryRedirect)
    • Template documentations(?)
