Manhua Life

Manhua Life (漫畫生活) magazine started in Sep 1934 and was forced to close at the 13th issue in Sep 1935. The chief editors were cartoonists Zhang E, Huang Shiying and Huang Ding. It did not sell beautiful and interesting stories, but published a lot of works that exposed the dark society and the imperialist conspiracy of German, Italy, Japan and the like to invade and dominate China. Its exposure of the ugly reality won the support and recognition of the intellectuals and thinkers in China.
