Brief 4-minute preparation before studying
Minute 1: Creating an account
Creating an account is the first step to becoming an MGP editor. After registering, you will have the following permissions:
- You can choose a username of your own (username cannot be changed once registered, so please choose it carefully);
- You can edit unprotected pages;
- You can create pages;
- You can personalize and engance pages,
- You can have your own userpage and talk page, where you can introduce yourself and facilitate other users to contact and communicate with you;
- You can participate in the discussion board about community matters.
Minute 2: User avatar
After creating an account, you can change yor avater. To do this, you can go to Special:UploadAvatar.
Minute 3: Setting your preferences
- In order to save Moegirlpedia's server resources and improve your editing efficiancy, please go to Special:Preferences and perform the following operations:
- Find "Email" and "User profile", input your email address and confirm it; find "Bind phone" and complete the binding.
- Uncheck "Email me when a page or a file on my watchlist is changed" and "Email me also for minor edits of pages and files".
- Check the "Gadgets" page to see if there are any tool options you need and chack them (however, some tools are not suitable for beginners, please consider carefully).
- Remember to save after selecting!
Minute 4: Organizing your thoughts
