The Crash Bandicoot' series is a series of video games created by the studio Naughty Dog, now owned by Activision.

Introduction
Originally, the player character in the Crash Bandicoot series was originally a wombat named Willie. But because "Willie" was a pun, they had to change it to a more family-friendly name. "Willie" later became "Crash" and his species was changed to bandicoot.
The backstory of the Crash Bandicoot series takes place on an island called "N.Sanity Island" (sometimes also called Wumpa Island), which is where Crash lives. The island is alomst always under attack by Dr. Neo Cortex, a mad scientist who experimented on animals and turned them into genetically modified warriors, so Crash must stop him. However, Cortex isn't Crash Bandicoot's only rival. There are other villains, like the alien Nitros Oxide, who challenges Crash Bandicoot and his friends to a racing championship. There are other scientists as crazy as Cortex: N. Brio, N. Gin, and Dr. N. Tropy.
In Crash's most recent adventure, he and his sister Coco, along with an alternate universe version of Crash's girlfriend Tawna, must travel through time to prevent N. Tropy and his female counterpart from taking over the world.
