The Paternoster Gang are a group of characters in the British television series Doctor Who created by the BBC.
Introduction
The Paternoster Gang were detectives active in London during the Victorian period. They were named after the Paternoster Row because that was where their headquarters were located.
The members of the trio are the Silurian Madame Vastra, the human Jenny Flint, and the Sontaran Strax. Vastra considers Jenny and Strax as her true family, above her own Silurian race.
History
During the construction of the London Underground, Madame Vastra and her Silurian tribe killed human passengers in retaliation, and the Eleventh Doctor persuaded her not to be controlled by anger. Later, she hired Jenny as her maid, and the relationship between the two became increasingly close, and finally became romantic beyond master and servant. Yuri alert.
During a battle with the Doctor, they met the Sontaran nurse Strax. Strax struggled several times after the battle, but finally joined the organization and became Madame Vastra's housekeeper. In this way, the Paternoster Gang was born.
When the Eleventh Doctor wanted to retire in London, the Paternoster Gang convinced him to return to saving the universe, and since then, they have joined Clara on multiple adventures with the Eleventh Doctor, and followed the Doctor to explore Clara's secret.
The team also witnessed the regenerated Twelfth Doctor descend on the Thames with a dinosaur. Clara was a little overwhelmed by the regenerated Doctor, Mrs. Vastra and Jenny both helped Clara accept the doctor after the regenerating. After Clara traveled with the Doctor to London Carnival again, she and the team solve a serial murder case caused by an alien invasion.[note 1] When not operating with the Doctor, the squad itself is involved in various time travels in different ways, and also encounters historical figures such as Henry VIII[note 2], Wilde[note 3], and others.
