Appearance
Ripjaws is similar to some Earth fish, such as viperfish, sharks and eels. Its hind limbs are two legs on land, and turn into a fish tail in water, with an angler light on top of its head. Its body appears gray, with the Omnitrix located on a black patch below its left shoulder.
In Ultimate Alien its Ultimatrix logo is located on the white breastplate on the chest, and the mouth no longer protrudes outward.
In Omniverse, its appearance has returned to that of the first generation, except that its eyes are green, there are green dorsal fins on its back, and its shoulders and forearms are surrounded by black armor. The Omnitrix is located in the center of the green belt.
Abilities
Ripjaws can lift objects as heavy as itself, or punch a big hole in the dock.
Ripjaws' sharp teeth can even crush the shell of a submarine.
When underwater, it breathes through gills on its neck, has extremely high swimming speeds, and can tolerate deep-sea environments. The light above your head lights up in the dark.
Appearances
Ripjaws first appeared in "The Krakken", defeating Jonah Melville. Later, when Ben gave up on the Omnitrix, this form was lsot.
After re-scanning some Pisccis Volann with the Ultimatrix, Ripjaws was unlocked again.
In Omniverse, Ripjaws appears three times. The first time he was caught twice by a fishing hook, the second time he defeated Vulkanus, and the third time, he briefly appeared in the last episode.
In the special episode of the reboot, a hero from a parallel universe who has been transformed by the Omnitrix appears. Moreover, they have been engaged in land battles and did not even show symptoms of water shortage throughout the whole process.
In the Hyperscan game, Ripjaws can be used by scanning a card.
Trivia
- What is very strange is that as one of the ten aliens in the classic series, Ripjaws rarely appears. It has not appeared at all since Ultimate Alien. In the entire Ben 10 classic series, Ripjaws only appeared 16 times.
- Ripjaws in the opening of "Ultimate Alien" looks different from the official Ripjaws.
