Record of Ragnarok is a manga originally written by Shinya Umemura, composed by Takumi Fukuy, and illustrated by Azychika. It also has anime and other derivative works.

Introduction

Plot

Seven million years since the birth of humankind, the gods, looking at humanity's continuous destruction of the environment, made a decision to give humanity an "end" at the "Human Survival Conference" held in the year 1000, but among them only the Valkyrie Brünnhilde objected. She proposes that humanity's future be decided through a final struggle between gods and humans under ultra-special terms. It is the "ultimate battle of Gods vs. Humans" in which 13 gods face off against 13 humans, each engaging in a one-on-one duel. If humans win 7 times first, they can survive until the next "Human Life and Death Conference."
