Rumia is a character in the Touhou Project series of danmaku shooting games and its derivative works.
She first appeared in Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, as both the Stage 1 Midboss and Boss.
As the first BOSS character to appear in the Windows era, she has a high popularity.
Introduction
Rumia is a youkai with the ability of manipulating the darkness. She is one of the few youkai that doesn't seem to belong to any particular species.
As ZUN said, she is a relatively low-level yōkai with relatively weak strength.
