What is Moegirlpedia?
Moegirlpedia is a wiki (encyclopedia) site for ACG, mainly contains female characters, moe anthropomorphism works, and (Chinese authors') original works.
How does it run?
Moegirlpedia runs in the following two parts:
- Content part:Everyone may create and edit articles freely[1].
- Funding part:Comes from both donations and advertisements.
What's it aimed for?
There are three goals of Moegirlpedia:
- 鼓励原创和保存优秀的原创作品。
- Build up a full, accurate ACG encyclopedia.
- 以轻松愉快略带恶搞的萌娘形象传播 科学知识、人文素养、爱与和平。
What's the Saving Plan?
所谓保存计划，指的是萌娘百科旨在建立一个最大最全的萌化，拟人化，娘化等创作的保存站点。为爱好者，创作者以及萌娘们提供一个家。避免创作因为时间久远而404或者被各种原因的zhmoe:和谐而消失。
首要目标是保存所有（华人所作的）各种 zhmoe:萌化、zhmoe:娘化、zhmoe:拟人化 的设定。
终极目标是保存一切萌娘的信息。

Problems
Short for Editiors
- For wiki is not popular in Mainland China and new users are young, many people are scared by the wiki learning.
- Besides English and Japanese users, Chinese users are more likely to accept contents passively, but not adding actively. (Too many zhmoe:伸手党!!!)
- Translators from Chinese Moegirlpedia are more less.
Technological Problems
- Many advanced features requies high-level programmers.
- Maintaining the website requires these programmers to update the program continuously, too.
