The Bamboo-copter is a fictional object that appeared in the manga Doraemon and its derivative works.

Introduction

It is a common item appearing most frequently in Doraemon. It's not only necessary in the movies, but also Nobita or Doraemon often use them to go out on weekdays. Its appearance is similar to the toy of the same name, with two propeller blades at the top (for decoration only), a hemispherical base for fixing the target at the bottom, and an ultra-small battery inside.

The user only needs to fit it anywhere (usually on the head) to make it work, (in the early anime and movies, you need to press the button after wearing it, and you can use it immediately after wearing it) at a speed of 80 kilometers per hour in the air for 8 hours (4 hours in some cases, if you fly for a while and rest for a while, the power can be maintained for longer and fly farther -- see Nobita's Dinosaur). Lightning can cause leakage (see "Nobita's Legend of the Sun King").

It is easy to fly away by itself because it is activated but not loaded in time. When used, it can be used in any direction and action according to the user's idea, and it can also be used in the sea in addition to the sky, but the speed has a limit.

In the anime, the bamboo-copter used by Doraemon is yellow, and the one used by Dorami is pink.

Many people often mistake its appearance to think that it is flying by reaction force, but this is not feasible (the person flying will spin, need to attach tail propellers like a helicopter), and even if it succeeds, it will cause harm to the person using it. In fact, the principle is anti-gravity, which acts on the entire object rather than the contact surface between the bamboo-copter and the object.

It was invented earlier ("Centennial Time Capsule") and the process was bumpy (Nobita's Secret Gadget Museum).

The design principle of the Bamboo-copter is not the principle of the helicopter, but it has an anti-gravity device inside, which forms an anti-gravity field around the human body.
