About Bonk

Bonk

The main character, Bonk, is a cave boy who uses his big head to hit enemies. He can climb to high places using his teeth, and if he eats meat, his energy levels rise, and he can become invincible for a short period of time. He was one of the three mascots of Hudson Soft, along with Bomberman and Master Higgins.

The Genjin (原人) in his Japanese name means "primitive man". It is also a pun on the video game console where he originated in, the PC Engine.

He has a descendant in the future called Zonk, who is the main character of the spin-off series, Air Zonk.
