Amy Rose is a character from the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
Introduction
She is Sonic's self-proclaimed "girlfriend", who is friendly and lovestruck. She wields a giant hammer which she uses as a weapon against her enemies.
History
Sonic CD
Following a tarot reading that said she and her "special someone" would meet at a specific place, she went there to wait for him. Unfortunately, she was kidnapped by Metal Sonic, one of Dr. Eggman's robots, and taken to Little Planet. Sonic had to save her, while at the same time, retrieving the Time Stones which were stolen by Eggman. After she was saved, she fell in love with Sonic ever since.
Sonic Adventure
In her route, she met E-102 Gamma, one of Eggman's new "E-series" robots, and befriended him.
Sonic Adventure 2
In the Hero Story, she mistook Shadow for being Sonic.
In the Final Story, she convinced Shadow to save the Earth from Biohazard.
Sonic Advance
Sonic Battle
She encounters the Gizoid Emerl.
Sonic Advance 3
She and her friends stopped Dr. Eggman, and then an overpowered Gemerl.
Sonic Heroes
She is a member of Team Rose along with Cream and Big.
