Danny Fenton is a character in Danny Phantom, an animated series created by Nickelodeon.
Introduction
He was originally an ordinary student whose parents were avid ghost enthusiasts. In an accident, he became a half-human and half-ghost with a special physique. He began to use this power to fight against the ghosts that came to the human world.
Abilities
- Phasing
He can phase through objects at will, and can also make things it touches through physical contact intangible. This is a basic ability that all ghosts have, but he cannot pass through some special anti-ghost substances.
- Flight
Can fly in the air, a basic ability that most ghosts have.
- Intangibility
He can make himself undetectable, and can also make things he comes into contact with intangible, but special ghost instruments can still detect invisible ghosts.
- Shapeshifting

History
When visiting the newly built ghost portal in his house with Sam and Tucker, he accidentally opened the portal when he was still inside, so he became half-human and half-ghost. At first, he was completely unable to control his ghost powers, which caused trouble for him, but after defeating the Lunch Lady, he was able to control his powers well and began to fight other ghosts.
He met Vlad and learned about the grudge he and Danny's father had, and started a long confrontation with him.
Due to a wish Sam made, he lost his ghost powers, but regained them due to Sam making another wish, along with a "D" symbol permanently appearing on his clothes.
As Vlad armed his new ghost-fighting team, the Masters' Blasters, with the most sophisticated anti-ghost equipment, Danny began to think that his ghost powers were just a burden, so he gave them up to return to being a normal person, but at the same time, a huge meteorite hit the Earth. Vlad wanted to use stopping the meteorite as a bargaining chip to become the ruler of the Earth. However, the meteorite was made of anti-ghost material, and no ghost could touch it. Danny thought that he could use ghost power to make the Earth intangible to avoid the meteorite, so he went to the Ghost Zone to seek help, but the ghosts did not intend to help and attacked Danny all at once. Instead, they helped Danny regain his ghost power. In the end, with Danny's lobbying, all the ghosts in the Ghost Zone agreed to his request and worked together to make the Earth intangible, and Danny's true identity was revealed. After being exposed, he became a hero in everyone's eyes, but in the end, he skipped his award ceremony and confessed his love to Sam under the tree.
