Mahjong Competition Rules (国标麻将) or also National Mahjong, is the official international standard for Mahjong, established in 1998 in Mainland China. Japanese mahjong is derived from this.

ACG works such as Mahjong King focus on this, in Saki there is a character named Hao Huiyu, who plays by using this set of rules.
