Xenoblade Chronicles, known in Japan as Xenoblade (Japanese: ゼノブレイド) is a role-playing game series developed by Monolith Soft and published by Nintendo, currently it has 6 games.

Introduction

In April 2007, Bandai Namco Games sells 80% of Monolith Soft to Nintendo. After Monolith worked for a number of Nintendo games on the side, then-Nintendo president Satoru Iwata found a project called "Monado" in Monolith's scrapbook, and recommended Tetsuya Takahashi to continue the production and make a crossover with the Xeno series. That was just what Takahashi had in mind, so he decided to get back on the frontlines and start working on development. In 2009's E3, Nintendo officially announced the game, tentatively titled Monado: Beginning of the World. In January 29, 2010, Satoru Iwata officially announced the title of the game as Xenoblade, at Nintendo's final accounts presentation[1]. It was officially released on June 10, 2010.

In January 23, 2013, Nintendo announced a new Monolith Soft title at a Nintendo Direct, in 2014's E3, the title was announced as Xenoblade Chronicles X. The game was released on April 29, 2015.

In January 13, 2017, Nintendo announced the release of Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It was released on December 1, 2017.

In January 10, 2022, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was announced at Nintendo Direct. The game was officially released on July 29, 2022.
