King Kong is the main character in the 1933 film King Kong' directed by Merian C. Cooper.
Introduction
The famous character who appeared in the movie King Kong. The film tells the story of the giant orangutan King Kong who was captured by humans and sent to New York for an exhibition, and met his beloved before and after. Then, in order to pursue the blonde beauty he loved, King Kong decided to cause trouble in New York, and fights other monsters such as dinosaurs.
Although it finally came face to face with its beloved, it was seriously injured by humans who did not understand it, and fell into New York City as a result.
However, although the rights to use the character's image belong to Universal Pictures, there are still some works of fiction that borrow the image of this monster, and in the second design, the image of the character gradually becomes "kind", or "sinister".
In 1954, Toho introduced King Kong into its own tokusatsu kaiju lore for the first time. King Kong, which was enlarged to nearly ten times the size of the 1933 original version, faced off against fellow kaiju, Godzilla, in his first battle.
Entering the new century, the 2005 version of King Kong directed by Peter Jackson, as well as the 2016 MonsterVerse series jointly produced by Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures, provide a completely new and different perspective, creating a new legend for this increasingly humanized primate.
