Vector is a character from the Tactical SRPG ES game Girls' Frontline developed by MicaTeam and piblished by Digital Sky and its derivatives.

The Transformational Defense Industries (or TDI) first introduced a visually exotic SMG chambered in .45 ACP at the end of 2005, naming it the "KRISS Super V", and it is claimed to be an SMG with extremely low recoil.
The sample weapon fires .45 ACP cartridges. Due to it being full-auto only, and with a staggering rate of fire at 1200 RPM, it was considered ammo-exhausting. The sample weapon used a 7-round magazine modified from that of the M1911A1, depleting the whole magazine in a blink of an eye. Designers soon realized that the rate of fire was too fast for an SMG, prompting them to plan to lower it to around 850 RPM. It was commonly believed that firing heavy .45 ACP rounds at 1200 RPM on a weapon that wasn't even 4 pounds heavy (the MK5 was 3.9 lbs heavy, with the design target around 3 lbs) would create difficulties in controlling the weapon, but the KRISS MK5 was easy to handle. According to those who test fired the weapon, the recoil was even lighter than that of the M1911 pistol.
The weapon is equipped with a 5.5-inch (around 140mm) barrel, with left-hand twist rifling at 16 inches (406 mm). A folding stock is also provided. The weapon comes with a selector capable of adjusting firing modes between single, two-round burst and full auto. An earlier variant with only semi- and full-auto modes was also introduced. The manual safety lever and the selector lever are separate from each other, and support ambidextrous operation. This design was questioned by some test users, especially when it comes to the position of the selector. Though the thumb of the firing hand can operate the safety lever with ease, the selector switch had to be operated with the other hand or by letting go of the grip to reach the lever. This problem was fixed on the second generation of KRISS SMGs, namely the K10, which merged the two levers into one.
The KRISS Vector uses 28- and 30-round magazines built by KRISS, which are in fact lengthened Glock 21 magazines. A 13-round magazine from a Glock 21 was used when the KRISS Super V prototype was shown in 2007. However, the prototype had the "25" marking on the full-auto position of the selector, which hinted that TDI then may design a 25-round magazine for it. But however, the actual products used 28- and 30-round magazines, therefore production KRISS Vectors had the numerical markings replaced by shape markings.

Trivia
Someone with a weird personality, don't talk much with others usually, but very reliable when executing missions, which in addition to her helping others in silence, makes her more or less welcome. (性格有些古怪的家伙，平时不太和别人说话，但是在执行任务时十分可靠，并且会无言地帮助别人，使得她还挺受欢迎的。)

Go change your clothes for Halloween now, you should be able to catch up with all the rest." Fortunately out of fear that those prankies may even target clothes, a few sets of Halloween costumes had been prepared in advance. "Do I have to?" The hesitation in her eyes are almost overflowing. "I gave the key to Vector whose focus kept drifting about. Though I didn't exactly know whether this babysitting tone actually works, anyway, "......" Orange glasses, hollow pumpkin earpins, black leather shoes with crosses, and a pair of yellow socks all the way up to the middle of her legs. Before coupling with the cat-ears, -paws and the signature double-tails of Nekomata-- "Only this one's size fits." She spoke calmly. "Is being cute alone enough?" Vector raised her eyebrows, looking at me as if she meant it. Vector nodded towards me, rubbing her chin with her catpaw gloves, speaking to herself: "Oh...speaking of being cute, I may remember reading some manga when I was bored..." "Yes, like this."

Grifon commanding room. Commander: That's all for the mission. Commander: Is there anything bad? Commander: The candidates are chosen by the client and IOP. Now that you are in this list means that they consider you capable of completing this mission. Commander: Any more questions, Vector? Commander: Looking good from the sounds of it. Commander: And uh...Vector, it's a wedding photo this time. You ain't having no expectation at all? The others were quite excited about it. Commander: (So you still want a try......) Uh......ok, after all everyone thinks differently.
The day of official photography. I started patrolling the filming floor after watching FN57's take for a while. Though I did check everything through from personnel to equipment, still, to prevent emergencies, more walks on the scene are needed. The other studios are also starting their takes aside from the one FN57's in. Commander: Ve......Vector!? Vector: What, sir. Did you locate a bomb inside the make-up room? Vector: ......Apologies for the shock. We had to take our weapons with us in this photography. I might as well look like a dangerous bride. Vector: No need for sympathy, sir. ......I should be the last one out? Vector: It's said that this is the main gown for official cases...... Troublesome to put on. Took a lot of time arranging my hair alone. Honestly, I feel a bit choked out now. Vector: I have nothing to complain if it's mission-mandatory...... But it must be hard for female humans to take this kind of photo. Vector: ......is that so. I cannot understand......It's just a set of clothes, what a pity to give it too much meaning. Like us......(soft voice) I heard her voice, but turned away from it as per usual. The photography kept on as planned. As I entered the largest studio, a crew was just about to take over. Our protection target--the actual couple, are preparing to head for the next studio. Commander: Vector, is everything going on well? Vector: Aside from the photographer complaining about my emotions, yes. Sir, those two are our protection targets this time, am I right? Vector: If it's out of concern of a possible hit, just clear the area and leave them alone here and take photos as they like would be better. Vector: We were taking guns in our photos. Vector: ......so those two, are also in the dark. Vector: I don't have the hobby of leaking secrets, sir. Furthermore, I have no one to leak this to. Vector: They look happy. But what they don't know is that they are protected by lies. Vector: I'm but part of the lie. Then, I'll get to play my role right. Vector set foot on a short wooden box, as the staff helped shape the train of her dress. Commander: Eh......Vector, I got something to say. Commander: Not an order, Vector. Yeah, we did come here on an official mission......But I want all dolls, be it you or others, to have a nice day here. Vector fell into silence. Perhaps it was an illustion, but for a second I felt the cold emotion of Vector lightening up for a bit. Vector looked at the candle stand beside her, as the flame left a warm light in her eyes.

正式拍摄的当天。 看了一会儿FN57的拍摄后，我开始在影楼内巡视。 虽然昨天我从人员到设备都彻底核查过一遍，但为了预防突发状况，还是要在现场多走走。 除了FN57的之外，其他几个摄影棚也都已经开始使用了。 指挥官：Ve……Vector？！ Vector：怎么了，长官。您是在化妆间里看到炸弹了吗？ Vector：……吓到了您还真是抱歉。这次拍照还要我们带武器，我看上去大概是个很危险的新娘吧。 Vector：不用安慰我了，长官。……我应该是最后一个出来的吧？ Vector：这套据说是正式的主纱……穿起来很麻烦。光接头发就折腾了很久，说实话我现在觉得有些胸闷 Vector：任务需要，我也没什么好抱怨的……不过要拍这种照片的人类女性，应该很辛苦吧。 Vector：……是吗。我没法理解……只是一身衣服而已，赋予太多意义实在太可怜了。就像我们一样……（小声） 我听到了她的声音，不过已经习以为常般地回避掉了。 拍摄按照原定计划进行着。当我进入最大的摄影棚时，正好两组摄影团队交换场地。我们要保护的任务目标——那对真正的新人正准备前往下个摄影棚。 指挥官：Vector，拍摄还顺利吗？ Vector：除了摄影师抱怨我的表情之外，其他还好。长官，那两个人就是我们这次任务要保护的对象吧？ Vector：担心被袭击的话，把这里清空只留他们一组随便拍不就好了。 Vector：那我们还带着枪拍照呢。 Vector：……所以那两个人，也是被蒙在鼓里的吗。 Vector：我没有泄露秘密的爱好，长官。而且，也没什么可以泄密的对象。 Vector：他们看起来很开心。但是他们不知道，自己正在被谎言保护着。 Vector：我也不过是谎言的一部分罢了。那么，我该去演好自己的角色了。 Vector在一个低矮的木板箱上站定，工作人员帮她整理裙摆的形状。 指挥官：呃……Vector，我些话想对你说。 指挥官：不是命令，Vector。虽然这次是为了公司的业务来到这里……但是我希望无论是你还是其他人形，都能在这里度过愉快的一天。 Vector沉默了下来。也许是我的错觉，有那么一瞬间我觉得Vector冷淡的神色似乎稍稍松动了一些。 Vector盯着身边的烛台，微微摇曳的火光在她的瞳中留下一丝温暖的色彩。 |
