Jewelpet (Japanese: ジュエルペット) is a Japanese anime franchise adapted from the character brand jointly developed by Sanrio and Sega Toys. It mainly tells the story of the "Jewelpets", magical creatures resembling animals such as rabbits and bears that have jewel-like eyes, and their human friends. The original anime series was produced by Studio Comet and was broadcast on TV Osaka and TV Tokyo on April 5, 2009.

Plot synopsis

The storyline of each season of this series is different, and the human characters are also different. Only three Jewelpets appear in all seasons, and the other Jewelpets only appear in three consecutive seasons at most. The plot setting of this work uses the elements of magical girls and pet companions that are commonly used in shojo anime. Some of the world lines are in the human world, and some are in Jewel Land (the world where the Jewelpets originally live).
