Plot synopsis

In the early 21st century, computer network technology has achieved rapid development, and mankind has entered the "Internet Age" in the true sense. Everyone has a digital device called a "Personal Terminal (PET)", and each PET has a virtual personality operating system called a "Network Navigator" (Japanese: インターネットナビゲーター), shortened as "NetNavi".

With the advent of the Internet generation, the problem of cybercrime is becoming more and more serious. Among them, the phenomenon of cybercrime caused by the mysterious evil organization WWW (Japanese: ワールドスリー, World Three) is increasing day by day.

Due to an incident, Lan and MegaMan.EXE got involved in the situation...

Settings introduction

Gameplay

Miscellaneous

  • This work is obviously a tribute to the original Mega Man series.
    • In fact, among the six bosses of the first game, except CutMan, who appeared in the second game, the other five characters all apeared.
      • But only BombMan.EXE remained loyal to Dr. Wily in this universe. ElecMan and FlameMan corrected their evil ways later after the first WWW was disbanded. GutsMan.EXE was not an enemy from the beginning, and IceMan.EXE was forced to work for the WWW.
