Time travel is a special ability common in ACG works.

Introduction

"Time travel" refers to the act of breaking the law of time flow and transmitting information and even items to a certain point in time in the past or future. The person who is transported becomes a time traveler . It's possible to travel quickly to the future through artificial hibernation or near-light travel, but traveling back to the past seems much more difficult. Some theoretical calculations show that it is possible to go back to the past or enter the future through a wormhole , but the existence of the wormhole itself cannot yet be proven.

Time travel of consciousness and information

In order to avoid the topic of "time paradox" as much as possible (common such as physically traveling into the past and accidentally killing your grandfather as a child, you will not be born, etc.), many works related to time travel are changed to transmit consciousness and information. That is to say, send your current consciousness back to the head of your past self, or inform your past self of some important events. If only partial information is provided, the effect is equivalent to being able to predict the future ; if all consciousness is transferred from the future to the past self, it is a loss in principle , but in the end it is equivalent to experiencing time going back.
