Ground power is a special ability in ACG works. It includes earth, soil, rock, and sand.

Introduction

The element of earth (earth) occupies a place whether it is one of the four elements of the West or the five elements of China.

In ACG works with superpower themes and magic themes, earthly abilities are not uncommon. In addition, in the game, earth/earth skills often appear.

Users of earth abilities can generally unleash earthquakes, rock avalanches, mudslides or sand blasts. They can also use the power of earth/rock/sand to engage in terrain warfare in specific terrain situations. Depending on the world view of the work, earth abilities may also be improved. Some of the defensive power gain capabilities and healing recovery capabilities can also be used to imprison the opponent. Some ACG characters use magnetism to control rocks or sand to attack. For details, please refer to the article Magnetism.

Earth abilities are abilities that are closely related to the earth. Therefore, earth ability users often give people an impression of being as thick and stable as the earth. Therefore, there are many strong men or characters wearing heavy armor among earth ability users.

Weaknesses

  • It may need to be in contact with the ground, and some ability users even need to squat down and touch the ground with their hands to activate their abilities.
  • Since most land contains materials that can conduct electricity, in many works that follow natural phenomena and physical laws, lightning-based abilities will also restrain earth-based abilities.
  • Since wood-type abilities and abilities involving the manipulation of metals will destroy or consume soil, these two abilities (especially in works based on the mutual generation and restraint of the five elements) can also restrain earth-type abilities.
