User system
Moegirlpedia users are classified into the following:
- Official user groups. With certain permissions, they are considered officials of Moegirlpedia which consists of:
- Maintenance group: Bureaucrats, Administrators, Patrollers. User group ranks and opinion validity decreases in this order. They have high maintenance rights and can participate in changes to user group rights, and are also obliged to participate in the development of policies and guidelines.
- Operations group: Staff. Active staff of Moegirlpedia without direct additional user rights.
- Specifically, the user account Moegirlpedia has no votes or activity limits.
- Honorary user groups: Good editors, Designated maintainers, VIPs. User groups not considered officials, only created to honor who have made specific contributions here.
- Functional user groups: Reserved to who have strong coding abilities and undertake the maintenance and improvements voluntarily, yet not considered officials:
- Technical: Interface administrators, Script editors, Technical editors. These user groups all have the privilege "Allow only administrators and technical editors", and the first two also have some other permissions. These additional permissions allow users with certain abilities and experience to participate in editing more easily (this includes performing operations that can not be done by normal users directly).
- Robots: Bots, Bot users. These user groups all have the privilege "Be treated as an automated process" to assist users in performing mass edits or tasks.
- Others: File maintainers, Abuse filter maintainers, Manually-confirmed users. You could apply for a manually-confirmed user before operations with autoconfirmed users required and you were not qualified.
- Automatic user groups: Users, Autoconfirmed users, Extended confirmed users. User groups automatically granted by the system. You will be one of them once registered.
Difference between Moegirlpedia and other wikis
- Moegirlpedia allows first-hand material to some extent. While citation is strongly recommended, information without source will not be removed indiscriminately.
- Moegirlpedia doesn't stick to the rules. You can edit articles in any form without disturbing the reading, so believe in yourself and play boldly within articles.
