A Certain Scientific Railgun

A Certain Scientific Gailgun(とある科学の超電磁砲（レールガン）) is a manga series that tell a side story to the light novel A Certain Magical Index written by Kamachi Kazuma and illustrated by Motoi Fuyukawa. It's also made into TV animes.

The manga is drawn by Motoi Fuyukawa. It started a monthly serialization in Gekkan Comic Dengeki Daioh in May 2007 and it is still serializing.

Background

The story takes place in the Academy City.

It mainly tells the story of Mikoto Misaka and things that happen around her.

A Certain Scientific Railgun was made into TV animes in October,2009 by J.C.STAFF, it has 24 episodes and an ova.
