Moegirlpedia provides user pages for everyone. The user page contains two parts, including the user page and its subpages, an the user template sandbox and user module sandbox.
Moegirlpedia is not a general data storage service website, so, your user page is not a personal website.
About user pages
- A user page is a user's personal space. You can click Special:MyPage to quickly create or view u=your user page.
- You can edit any content on the user page that does not violate the policy of Moegirlpedia, including but not limited to displaying your personal information, recording editing history, etc.
- If you need a template similar to {{Characterinfo}} to introduce yourself, you can use {{User info}}.
- You can add Userboxes to the user page to show your interests or find like-minded people.
- Please not that do not create or edit other people;s user pages without permission (except for reasonable operations by maintenance staff).
About user subpages
- The user subpages are an extension of userpages. In principle, it can store any content that does not violate the policy. You can edit personal templates, create sandboxes, etc. here.
- User sandboxes should be created on subpages, see the #About user sandboxes paragraph for details.
- User-specific templates should be created in subpages rather than in the template namespace. For example: User:Example user's personal template can be located as User:Example user/Personal template, using
<nowiki>User:Example.Personal templates
. - User subpages may not be used as wiki farms, and the act of claiming to be a subsite is not allowed.
About user sandboxes
- Sandboxes cannot be created on the user page itself or user discussion pages. You can click Special:MyPage/Sandbox to quickly create or view your personal sandbox.
- We recommend that you do not create a large number of sandbox pages at will.
- Template sandboxes should be created on the user subpage in the same way as personal templates are created.
- When necessary, a template sandbox can also be created on a subpage of "Template:Sandbox". For example the sandbox under the template namespace of User:Example user can be named Template:Sandbox/Example User/Test Template.
- Test modules should be created on the subpage of Module/Sandbox. For example, the sandbox under the template namespace of User:Example user can be named Module:Sandbox/Example User/Test Module. But you shouldn't create modules that are only used by your personal pages.
- Under normal circumstances, format errors in the sandbox itself and all content in it (including but not limited to adding wrong categories and using wrong templates) are allowed to exist. You can edit drafts in your personal sandbox with confidence.
