Introduction
Kangaroo
Kangaroos are animals native to Australia and New Guinea. They are part of the marsupials--a group of animals whose most famous feature is the pouches on the front of their bodies, which they use to carry their babies.
Kangaroos and human culture
Since the image of the kangaroo is almost always associated with Australia, many Australian designs may or may not feature a kangaroo.
Baby kangaroos are sometimes called "joey".
