Moegirlpedia:Administrators
|
Administrators (sysop
) are the site maintenance staff that coordinates and manages the entire Moegirlpedia site and has a lot of administrative privileges. As a senior editor of Moegirlpedia, the administrator has the ability and obligation to guide users to edit correctly, participate in discussion board discussions, and also participate in discussions and voting on major site matters such as proposals and staff changes.

- Have read through the maintenance tasks of Moegirlpedia:Maintainer.
- Has edited more than 600 times in total in the "Main:" (namespace=0), "Template:", and "Category:" namespaces of Moegirlpedia.
- More than 50 combined edits under the file ("File:") and category ("Category:") namespaces of Moegirl Commons.

- Be able to basically guarantee half an hour or more of daily online maintenance.
- Have not violated the banning policy and other guidelines regarding banning within the last 30 days.
- Have not been removed from the administrator user group within 30 days prior to initiating the application, nor have they initiated an administrator application, except for self-resignation.
Authorization process
- Send a qualified application using the pre-defined application template in the Change of Authority section (unformatted applications will be invalidated).
- It is recommended that the applicant state the reason for the request in the application, otherwise it may be difficult to gain confidence to obtain enough approval votes.
- After the application is sent, an inquiry period of 7 days will elapse.
- During the questioning period, other users can ask questions to the applicant about Moegirlpedia's maintenance, administrators and their permissions and Moegirlpedia's future development.
- The questioning period shall be at least 3 days and shall include at least one legal holiday or weekend off day, otherwise the voting shall not be opened.
- During the period when voting is opened and the questioning period is less than 7 days, only follow-up questions to the applicant's answers are allowed.
- Applicants shall answer questions during the questioning period. That communication should take place in the discussion forum after the end of the inquiry period.
- Applicants are advised to respond to a moderate number of questions within their ability to do so, and are generally advised to answer all questions from current maintenance staff.
- After three days of the questioning period, applicants may open their own poll.
- If the questioning period has ended and the applicant has not opened a poll, another maintenance staff member will open the polling process for the applicant.
- Votes will be counted by the current maintenance staff at the end of the voting period.
- Applicants have no vote weight, administrators have a vote weight of 2 votes each, and patrollers have a vote weight of 1 vote each.
- Under the premise that the participation rate of maintenance staff is more than 2/3, the ratio of agreed votes to total agreed + opposed votes is more than 2/3, the ratio of agreed votes to total votes is more than 1/2, and the ratio of opposed votes of administrators to total votes of administrators is less than 1/2, the vote is passed; other than this, the vote is not passed.
- After the vote is passed, the administrator will confirm the vote count result and grant the applicant the administrator user group after there is no error.
- Note: Administrators who apply for temporary leave for personal reasons (rather than facing community challenges) can choose to skip the authorization process and authorize directly after 180 days of reapplying for the patroller or administrator user group.
Duties and Responsibilities
In addition to the basic obligations and maintenance tasks, the administrator should also
- Actively accept applications from user groups such as inspection kits and technical editors
- Actively participate in the discussion and voting of personnel cases and proposals.
- Accepting maintenance tasks and editing requests that cannot be done by user groups such as patrollers.
- Merging proposals and quick proposal contents into policy or guideline pages to achieve consensus obtained from community discussions.
- Checking private filter logs regularly and improving abuse filters.
- Performing the job duties of administrators in other policies or guidelines.
- To provide users with a better access experience as much as possible.
Downgrades and Deletions
Rapid demotion
- Administrators should be downgraded to the Patroller user group (while temporarily removing the additional Administrator, User Checker, and Supervisor user groups) quickly when the following conditions are met:
- The issued Patroller has been withdrawn for less than 90 days due to its failure to meet the application requirements, impeachment or serious violations, and the interval between the first and third time is less than one year, and the maintenance standard can be considered to be significantly different from the community opinion.
- A significant number of operational errors in a short period of time, which are assessed by the administrator as requiring expeditious mitigation.
- Short-term bans for violations of the banning policy and other policy-related banning regulations.
Administrators can specify a 15-day or 30-day probation period when demoting, and the administrator status can only be restored after the probation period is over, during which they cannot apply for the administrator user group by themselves.
Exclusion procedure
- Insufficient activity
- Less than 3 edits in the Moegirlpedia and Moegirl Commons namespaces (Main, Template, Category, HelpHelp, Project, File) within the past 30 days. No response within 7 days or still not meeting the activity requirement after 7 days after the maintenance staff left a message asking about it.
- If there are more than 10 edits or other manipulations in Moegirlpedia and Moegirl Commons between the time other administrators remind the participating maintainers of the personnel case vote on the user discussion page and the end of the vote, but still do not participate in the vote, that administrator will be warned that
- If he/she cannot clarify his/her reasons for not voting within 14 days or if the reasons are not accepted by more than 1/3 of the administrators then he/she will be removed from the administrator user group.
- The administrator will be warned if he/she abstains from voting, does not participate in voting or is deemed not to participate in voting for 3 consecutive maintenance personnel cases, technical personnel cases or proposals.
- The administrator user group will be removed if he/she cannot state his/her reasons for consecutive abstentions/non-votes within 14 days or if the reasons cannot be accepted by more than 1/3 of the administrators.
- And those who still abstain or do not participate in the next vote on personnel cases and proposals after the reply will be removed from the administrator user group directly.
To be successfully demoted, subject to the demotion process:
- Auto-confirmed users can initiate the administrator demotion process in the permission change board;
- The initiator of the demotion shall meet the requirements of the Moegirlpedia:Voting guidelines.
- A user is only allowed to initiate one demotion case within 48 hours, and demotion cases are only allowed to be initiated against a single user.
- If there is already an demotion voting process underway for the appropriate administrator, in principle, additional statements, evidence, discussion, etc. should be added to this demotion process and no new duplicate demotion process should be initiated.
- If an administrator demotion process is not passed, no administrator demotion process may be initiated against an administrator.
- The demotion shall contain a complete statement, evidence section.
- Be limited to acts that occurred within Moegirlpedia and that occurred after the election of the administrator.
- Only acts that occurred within the 365 days prior to the initiation of impeachment and were not used as evidence in an earlier case of impeachment.
- If a case of impeachment fails to include this section or does not meet the foregoing requirements, the Administrator has the right to dismiss the case of impeachment after considering its reasonableness.
- After a demotion has been initiated and is valid, a 7-day question period will be held.
- The demotion initiator shall collect more than five (5) voting eligible users to co-sign the initiation of impeachment during the Question Period. Failure to collect the required number during this period shall automatically invalidate the impeachment.
- The demoted administrator may respond to the demotion, and users with voting rights may also participate in the questioning discussion. The initiator can withdraw the demotion at any time during this phase.
- At the end of the questioning period, the poll will be opened by the maintenance staff.
- Counting of votes by the current maintenance staff after the voting period:
- No vote weight for demoted persons, 4 votes per vote weight for administrators, 2 votes per vote weight for Patrollers, and 1 vote per vote for automatically confirmed users.
- The vote passes if the ratio of total agreed votes to the total votes weight of the maintenance staff exceeds 1/3, the ratio of agreed votes to the total votes weight of the maintenance staff exceeds 2/3, or the ratio of total agreed votes to the total agreed + total opposed votes exceeds 2/3; other than that, the vote does not pass.
- After the vote is passed, the administrator will confirm the vote count result and remove the demoted person's administrator user group after there is no error.
- Self-application.
