Work direction and principles
- Be familiarized with the policy system of the site, use the rights prudently, all maintenance actions are based on the site policy, and at the same time appropriately refer to the past practices, taking into account the demands of ordinary users.
- In the case of not violating the site policy, maintain etiquette in user communication. Make necessary good-faith presumptions for other users (especially new users who are not sockpuppets), and provide appropriate guidance and assistance to potential editors.
Maintain the necessary attention and participation in major tasks, exercise your rights reasonably, and remain rational in the process.

- Maintenance of content items
- Refer to Moegirlpedia:Template guidelines to standardize the use of the template, such as whether there is abuse of the template, or the template location is wrong, the obvious template parameter fill-in error, etc.
- Maintain the information template (on the right of the entry) according to the corresponding template description, and correct the incorrectly filled content.
- Refer to Moegirlpedia:Writing articles and similar article formats to standardize entry language and format. For thematic entries, please refer to the editing guidelines of the subject.
- Based on Copyright Information and Contents Related to Copyright in the Policy, check articles for copyright infringement.
- Refer to Moegirlpedia:Text Content Copyright Guidelines to remind and assist the corresponding editor to add copyright information guidelines.
- Refer to Moegirlpedia:Article titles to rename the pages that are not compliant with the naming; at the same time, referring to Moegirlpedia:Disambiguations to disambiguate duplicate/ambiguous entries.
- Refer to Moegirlpedia:Redirect for handling non-compliant redirect pages.
- Promptly roll back various destructive editing behaviors and warn relevant editors.
- Maintenance of classification/template
- Focus on newly created templates, and clean up any unnecessary templates in time.
- Consider establishing a corresponding big family template when there are many similar/related content.
- Refer to the classification guidelines of the site for a reasonable classification of items.
- Shared site maintenance
- Check the newly uploaded pictures in accordance with Moegirlpedia:Policy and deal with the illegal pictures in a timely manner.
- According to cm:File Classification Guidelines maintain the classification of shared sites and the classification information of each file.
- In particular, check the two categories related to cm:Template:Authorized (cm:Documents without authorization certificate, cm:Authorized documents not created by author classification), and correct the information as appropriate and notify the relevant editors.
- According to the cm:Page naming guidelines, the naming of files, templates, categories and other pages will be amended, and editors who have violated the guidelines multiple times will be reminded.
- Discussion management
- According to Moegirlpedia:Talk Management Policy to manage all kinds of discussion pages in the site.
- Regularly inspect the comment area in accordance with Moegirlpedia:Comments Management Policy and delete comments that violate the site policy.
- Accept reports from Comment Area Management System and user requests from other channels (such as discussion boards) in a timely manner.
- Other duties and tasks
- Move the page/file that needs to be deleted due to various reasons to the user page subpage or directly hang the template {{Awaiting deletion}}, and fill in the reason correctly.
- Refer to Moegirlpedia:Policy#User Ban Policy for banning vandals, and fill in the reason correctly.
- Participate in major station affairs discussions, focusing on personnel cases and proposals.
- According to the inspection or application, Moegirlpedia:Good editors will be granted, and the identity of non-compliant high-quality editors will be withdrawn. When performing such operations, you should fill in the reason correctly.

About the "Patrolled" mark
Note: Special:Recent changes ! means that the edit has not been marked for inspection. No need to destroy all !, please focus on the [New article], [Large Deletion], [BatchUpload] and [Gallery of new files].
When we are reviewing Special:Recent changes, we will find that some items will have a red exclamation mark (!)
"!" means that this page has not been inspected, or ignored, or failed inspections.
Note 1: If this page is not a new page (that is the entry name has no symbol-"N"), we will see the following text:

On the patrolled page, the method to remove "!" is:
1- Click the diff button, and find the button [[[:Template:False chain]] above the Latest Version entry on the right].
2- The difference part (in some cases, you need to check the full text), and make sure to pass the inspection.
3- Click the button [[[:Template:False chain]]], if successful, a window "This change to xxx has been marked as patrolled." will pop up

On the patrolled page, the method to remove a "!" is:
1- Click the article page button and find the button [[[:Template:Fakechain]]] at the bottom of the article's content. 2- Review the full text and make sure to pass the inspection. 3- Click the button [[[:Template:False chain]]], if successful, a window "This change to xxx has been marked as patrolled." will pop up.
(i)Note Please note that whether an article passes the patrolling does not affect the publication of the last edit; however, the Patroller may change your page or discuss the preservation of your page.
Other
- In the above-mentioned items, if the patroller has no operation authority, he can inform the administrator, and the administrator can operate it.
