Introduction
WEATHEROID Type A Airi is a virtual intelligent weather announcer developed with state-of-the-art technology.
She is called "Airi" for short, and is also nicknamed "Airin" and "Ponko". Her main responsibility is to broadcast the weather for Weathernews' own weather program, as well as having often cute-ish expressions and strange-ish actions.
Every Thursday at 22:00 JST, she does live broadcasts with a real human voice.
She first debuted in 2D form on April 13, 2012 on the webcast program "SOLiVE24", on December 7, 2012, she made her 3D model debut at "Soratomo Party 2012" and interacted with the audience. The following year, on February 4, 2013, an experimantal program was performed in 2D.
