Ultraman Agul is a character in the Ultra Series created by Tsuburaya Productions. He first appeared in the Ultraman Gaia episode "His Name is Gaia" (その名はガイア).

Introduction
Agul is an Ultra born on Earth.
Hiroya Fujimiya met Agul in an experiment that did not confirm the particle observation sensor. Agul's behavior is the opposite of Gaia, who protects human beings, because Fujimiya strongly believed that, since human beings only bring about destruction, there is no meaning in protecting them. After learning that the results predicted by the optical quantum computer Crisis were actually changed by Claus Eckart, he began to recognize his own mistakes and gradually believed in human beings.
Agul represents the will of the ocean, able to sense (across time and space) when the Earth is in great danger.

- Both Gaia and Agul are Ultras born on Earth.
- Agul has two forms, V1 and V2. The default form is V1, and after returning, the default form is V2. Agul cannot change his form at will.
- Agul originally was meant to disappear after he gave Gaia his energy, but due to his high popularity, Tsuburaya let him return in the form of V2.
- Because Gaia's appearance on TV is meant to produce a "shock" effect, Gaia and Agul would make the ground shake and roll up a lot of dust when they appear.
