Ultraman Great is a character in the Ultraman series created by Tsuburaya Productions. He is the main character of the Australian TV series Ultraman: Towards the Future. He appeared in the first episode of the series, "Signs of Life".
Introduction
The pilot Jack Shindo was accidentally involved in the battle between Great and Gudis while on a mission to Mars and accidentally died. Great possessed his body to make him barely survive, and then used it to move around the earth and wait for an opportunity to hunt down the Gudis cells that were not destroyed.
After destroying Gudis II and various monsters and aliens, Great encountered the ocean monster Kodalar and the space monster Kilazee, and tried his best to finally defeat the two powerful enemies. In the end, Great separated from Shindo and returned to the Land of Light.
Details
- In the series, Great is called the most powerful warrior in the Land of Light.
- Great's three-minute time limit is not due to energy constraints, but due to Earth's air pollution.
- Great's Color Timer is triangular, unlike ordinary Ultra Warriors.
- Great was among the tallest of all the Ultras on TV before Ultraman Ginga aired.
- Great is described as good at boxing in the TV series, but due to Australia's prohibition of violence and the limitations of the suits, Great's fighting was mediocre in the series, and it was not until Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Absolute Conspiracy that he showed a certain fighting strength with the blessing of the advancement of shooting technology.
- Great is the first Heisei Ultraman in the true sense, but because he is not an Ultraman from Japan, but foreign, it is not included in the Heisei Department.
