Introduction
The M78 Nebula is located in the Gamma galaxy, 3 million light-years away from the Earth, and contains a very large number of planets.
In the Ultraman Series, there are five different versions of the M78 Nebula.[1]
Name
In 1966, Tsuburaya's staff discovered the name M87 in a book, so the setting of M87 came to mind, which is the original name of the familiar M78 Nebula. But after that, they mistakenly printed M87 as M78, so they simply removed the setting of M87 and used the current M78. But the M87 did not disappear. After that, Tsuburaya assigned the name M87 to Zoffy, in his M78 Beam.
Development
270,000 years ago, the sun in the M78 Nebula suddenly exploded, and the black holed sun began to devour nearby stars due to the energy generated by the explosion.
After that, scientists in the Land of Light invented the anti-black hole cannon, and used the anti-black hole cannon to neutralize the gravity of the black holed sun. After the sun was neutralized, it disappeared, and the Land of Light became the center of the nebula.
Since the Land of Light was not a planet, the entire M78 nebula was in darkness.
In order to solve the problem of light, scientists in the Land of Light have created an energy supply device that can replace the sun-plasma spark nuclear fusion device on the basis of long-term research. After Zero defeated Belial, the energy core was brought back to the Land of Light, and the artificial solar system resumed its work.
