The regent is a hairstyle, popular between the 1650s and early 1960s.
The combing method is to use hair wax to cover the entire hair, and comb the hair back from both sides like a fan. The back hair is combed like a duck tail, and the front hair is slighly raised or made into a fluffy hairstyle.
