Bald head/baldness is a type of hairstyle and one of the moe points in ACG sbuculture.

Introduction

At different times and places, people choose to keep their heads bald for different reasons: convenience, religion, culture, aeshetics, illness, aging, etc.

Slaves and prisoners were sometimes forced to shave their heads (mostley men, but not all women).

In different situations, baldness is given different connotations.

  • The Ancient One (Doctor Strange) - The Ancient One is a master of magic who studies the mystic arts. In the 2016 movie, her gender was changed to female.
  • Mayuri Shiina (Steins;Gate) - Baldness caused by terminal illness/chemotherapy
  • Clash (Rainbow Six Siege)
  • Wu Zetian
