Short bangs are a short hair style that is a moe point in ACG subculture.

Introduction

Short bangs refer to bangs that arer short. Generally speaking, the length does not reach the eyebrows. Most short bangs only cover the upper part of the forehead or less, leaving a large area of the rest of the forehead exposed. Short bangs on some characters can visually create an effect similar to a big forehead.

When expressed in animation, the static super short hair with irregular bangs above the eyebrows conventionally symbolizes the short hairstyle, common in male characters.

A character with short bangs generally gives people the impression of being cheerful and wild or cute and childish. In terms of hair drawing, the former type has straight and messy lines that make it look frizzy, while the latter type has hair that is soft and fluffy, much like light feathers.
