Rindere is a personality type and a moe point in ACG subculture.

Introduction

Rindere characters are almost always predominantly female.

These girls are usually rich in a sense of honor, justice, and often even have a strong aura that men do not have, and it is not too much to describe them as heroic, and have a particularly outstanding fighting ability among their peers.

Rindere is often confused with arrogance, but it differs from arrogance in the following ways.

There is a type of Rindere who is not interested in love, nor particularly passionate, although in essence still eager to fall in love.

There is another type of Rindere who is completely uninterested in love, but also completely without any manifestation of love, not even a hint.

Sometimes they will express their inner thoughts very directly, only to feel shy afterwards, or embarrassed in the moment, but will not go to deny their feelings. There is an element of gap moe in them.

Compared to most other "dere" types, Rindere is relatively passive.

A yandere will be very active in approaching the object of their affection, a tsundere will look for opportunities to get along with them and then deny it... but a rindere usually relies on her own temperament to attract and accept them.
