Ahoge (Japanese: アホ
Intdocution
Many moegirls in ACG works have ahoges to enhance their moe points. (Of course, it is not limited to girls. There are also male characters with ahoges)
The term ahoge (アホ毛) means "dumb hair" in Japanese. But it neither seems vulgar nor insulting.
There was once a popular saying: "the only character with an ahoge should be the main character", and in fact this is the case in many works.
