M-shaped bangs are a very common hairstyle among ACG characters and are a moe point in ACG subculture.
Introduciton
M-shaped bangs refers to bangs that are divided into three even bundles. The middle bundle is located in the center of the forehead, and the two bundles on both sides merge with the sideburns, making the hairline appear in the shape of an "M". However, it should be noted that the intake may have an outer contour similar to the shape of an "M". This article is only applicable to describing the three-lobed distribution of the hairpiece itself.
This hairstyle is very common in ACGN characters. The hair in the center of the forehead can flutter in the wind and is very linear. Compared with straight bangs, it is slightly more lively. Because it is also eary to draw, more hair can be added to it. On the basis of volume, it doesn't block the character's eyes, so the protasgonists of many ACG works have bangs of this shape.
But in reality, such a hairstyle is very difficult to make. Unless it is fixed with hairspray, it will not be able to achieve the same effect it has in fiction.
